Not much to tell, hot tubbed 2 ribeyes. Shrimp @ 400 direct in cast iron thingies (they are lodge and I love them) with garlic, butter and white wine. Pulled

let the mini go into after burners seared the steaks to 125 rested with garlic butter and served with steamed beans. amazing quick meal.
So much garlic there will be no vampires around here this halloween.

garlic, butter, white wine, shrimp

onto the mini at 400 dome direct

all done

my steak with cow lick and the wife's with just salt. these were kinda compared small to the 3 pounders i've been seeing lately. wife's was about 10 ounces mine was about 14. 3/4 of an inch and an 1inch thick.

45 seconds flip turn/flip turn until 125 on each.

basted with butter between flips (semi Adam Perry Lang Like)

resting with garlic butter

plated with the shrimp, and steamed beans (also with garlic butter)

my beer was a black IPA from Fort Collins brewery incredible HOP series

closer plated shot

up close of steak. super easy edge to edge medium rare.

Thanks all! @Village_Idiot that means a lot seeing your pretty plates all the time. @Aquacop beer was great, hoppy suprisingly nutty with a subtle sweetness. It had been bottle conditioned for like a year (read I found it in the back of the fridge).

Would you like it in a glass or do you prefer to drink from the bottle? Ahh naw glasses will be fine. You tell the cook not to screw up them steaks we're particular about our meat" The Cowboy Way.
