<p />Today I'm baching it and the thought of a cold sandwich just didn't cut it so Bubba Burger came to my rescue. That along with a handful of Ore-Ida Crispy Fast Food Fries baked during the same time humpty was smoking my burger. There you have a deliciuos hot lunch - albeit a simple and fast one. It still amazes me that a B/B goes from the frozen state to the bun in less than 11 minutes.

    RRP,
Those really come in handy when you are in a hurry or just don't want to make a mess and they taste good.[p]Larry

  • RRP,
its all those teeny tiny holes they punch in them. ..its not so much that you grill a BB, but rather, you are steaming it. ...have you noticed how much steam comes out of the egg when you open the dome while cooking one? . .they are really almost like a good old white castle burger in that regard. . .. [p]i'm not complaining mind you, there ain't nothin like white castles ("buy em by the bagful!"), and BBs are probably the best frozen burger around. . . .

  • RRP,[p]Looks mighty good but where does one find a Bubba Burger? Don't ever recall seeing them around here.[p]Chuter

  • Chuter,
in my area, both safeway and harris teeter carry them in the frozen food sections (near the 'steak ums'). . ..they come in three varieties, onion burgers, angus and regular (i think that's how they are labeled) . ..pretty darn tasty in a pinch. .. and like ron said, from frozen to the bun in 11 minutes. ..

  • Lawn Ranger,
hey, eggfests are great for my diet. . .nothing but protein. .. i plan on eating almost nothing for the entire ride down to atlanta. . ..probably going to skip the "varsity", so no chili cheese dogs and greasy fries there. . .i'll be drinking nothing but club soda at the meet and greet. .. .and all day saturday, it'll be mostly meat consumption, and then sunday the drive home. ..i'll bet i do better on this trip than i normally would do at home for the weekend. . ..plus, i'll be on my feet walking around all day saturday burning calories ....[p]mad "even losing weight at eggfest" max

  • mad max beyond eggdome,[p]Not just onion, max. vidalia onion. [p]YUMMMMY!!

    RRP,
Bubba is a real character. We actually did a Sanitation and Safety project with them back when they were opening their new plant. We set up their HACCP plan and they gave us all a lifetime supply of Bubba Burgers...all at once...lol. There were about 6 of us and we split up 300 cases of Bubba Burgers as payment. I gave most of mine to the Kroger regional management team and they have been stocking them ever since.[p]It's a good product and has always been a natural for the Egg.
