I was going to order some rubs and have heard mixed reviews on this one. Too salty seems to be the common complaint. Opinions?

HorseMover, go ahead and sign up for Prime. It is fantastic. It paid for itself with Christmas/baby crap shopping 2 years ago and the Prime video service is great. Well worth $7.41/month.In terms of Dizzy Pig rubs, Pineapple Head, Swamp Venom, Raging River and Red Eye Express/Cow Lick seem to be the most popular. I can vouch for Cowlick and Swamp Venom.

I love Bad Byron's but do not put thick coats of it like I do sometimes with my Texas BBQ rubs. For pork butt, Bad Byron's is super.SpringramSpring, TexasLBGE and Mini

I cut it on a 1 to 1 ratio with turbinado sugar. It is quite good.
-
WAY too salty.
-
LOVE me some Bad Byrons! I was intrigued the first time i bought it by their adding the Chipotle in there. Adds a nice bit of heat...but not too much. I do not agree with too salty - but to each his own(!) and that is what makes the Egging World go 'round!

It's piling on at this point, but yes, Bad Byron's is great! Highly recommended. I've started putting it on damn near everything. Try it on popcorn, or potatoes, or sprinkled on garlic bread. Really amazing stuff. Finally back in the Badger State!
