In fact, I've been all over this site, enjoying everything. Will have to come back more often! We just moved our large egg to our lake house. It has been on the upper deck right outside the kitchen on a wrap around screened in porch. Contractors have just finished putting in vinyl siding and soffits as well as lining the inside of the wrap around screen porch ceiling in vinyl. So do you all think I would mess up the vinyl by leaving the egg in that spot? Anyone have any experience with this kind of question? Thanks in advance! Great site!

I would move it away from and out from under the siding and any vinyl... Smoke and heat may damage it.MSV Chill Spot

Mine aren't under cover but there are a lot of people that do keep them under vinyl. No damage in many years of use. As long as you have a good distance to the ceiling you should be fine.
