I have been egging for about a year now, and I am setting my egg up for a rib cook and I am putting my plate setter in and hit one of the legs and break it clean off! I know I have read opinions on whats the best rig to have besides a plate setter but I am asking what do you think I should buy instead of the plate setter? I know I am beating a dead horse here! I have a Large BGE.

Check out the ceramic grill store. I have a Woo, but many people have the AR and seem to be very happy with it.Killen, AL (The Shoals)XL, Small, Minimax, and Mini BGEs

I have the Woo3 with the extender. If I had already purchased the PS with my egg; I probably would have gone with the ARMSV Chill Spot

While deciding what next, you can use a fire brick to act as the missing leg in supporting the cooking grate to afford you the indirect cooking option. For that matter you could use three empty beer cans and get the same results but at a higher grate level. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
