Cleaning Pizza stone
Comments
-
Jane,
why? A pristine solid shiny black stone is the desired condition. I merely wipe mine with a dry paper towel.
Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
Jane,
The only cleaning you need to do is to scrape off any burned-on remains of your last cook. Do not wash it or clean it with any sort of soap or cleaner. If you can't scrape the last stuff off, put it in a hot oven or egg for an hour and let it burn off, then you can scrape the remains. As RRP said, the discoloration is normal and you should not try to remove it.[p]TNW
