BGE's Custom Cooking Island - Backyard Chef Edition

I had some time to kill yesterday, so I swung by my local Ace Hardware in Jacksonville to see if there was anything new that I might need for my large bge. Low and behold, they had a new bge custom cooking island on display. How sweet is this thing? I have been in the market for a new table for a while. I was alone with my oldest son and driving my pick up truck with no wife in sight.... Instantanly I could see this in the bed of my truck headed to my house. That is until I saw the price tag....$2895.00. Are they serious? Is this the price people are seeing across the nation?

I was looking at making some cabinets out of HDPE, but that stuff is really expensive, a 3/4" 48x96 sheet goes for around 800, and shipping on top of that. So if it is HDPE thats not a bad price. But way out of my budget.Simi Valley, California
