Question about temp control

Which plays a bigger role in temp control if trying to fine tune on a temp, the daisy wheel or bottom vent? I assume the daisy wheel but thought I would check with the group. Thank you for your help.

Whichever vent is more restrictive is the one that plays a bigger role. For me, on low n slows, I use the top because it's easier to adjust.

I think both are able to impact temp, but DFMT is the best way to make fine adjustments.

Not to step on BB's toes, but DFMT=Dual Function Metal Top=daisy wheel.

Or not use the DFMT/Daisy Wheel at all and control from the bottom vent only. You do not need it. Kind of the kiss application for Eggs.
