Pork shots with raw sausage base?

I'm thinking about doing some pork shots starting with pieces of uncooked sausage rather than kielbasa for the base.

Any thoughts??

    Just an opinion but everytime I use sausage in ABT's I cook it first.  Now, if I'm making armadillo eggs then I start with it uncooked.  The driver for me would be about how long you expect the sausage to have the chance to cook before the item is finished.  FWIW-
