So you have the new XXL?

I've got a large and a mini, just started thinking about getting a third. How do I get Mrs. G onboard with that?

Easy.... Tell her you want a Harley like VI's Vespa. She will tell you HELL NO. Then you say you might want another Egg. She will feel bad and you got an Egg. Or, just stick a knife in her foot like Cen-Tex.

Funny thing is though, it always seems to work, the other way around, when new shoes, handbags, dresses, etc. show up at my house!
Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

That's not the way it happened with me.  I told her I bought a $1,000,000 life insurance policy and a Harley.  She seemed happy with both announcements.

Two large, who have been left alone for about a week and a bit, resulting in a Mini on the way.  That would be 3.  I can count that with both socks and one mitten on.

@Griffin tell her that you really want a boat or a 70 Chevelle SS and push that hard.  When she shoots you down "settle" for another egg.

I have Small and Large, and think about buying another Large from time to time. My Dad has Med, Med, Large, Mini. They tend to multiply.

Large, medium and small.  As much as I want a mini I don't see myself cooking for just me and my wife anytime soon with a 8 year old and a 11 month old at home.

I figured I would get a Med someday to complete the family and then they introduced the XXL. Game over on owning them all.

Excuse my ignorance as I'm a newb, but why do some own multiple 3+ eggs?

Entertaining for large parties or making several courses at once? Or just having a well rounded family?

I don't know of anyone collects them just to have them.  I have an XL which is my main egg at home.  I go to my Mom's house and on picnics pretty often and I bought a small for that.  I was having some bad back pain and decided that a mini weighs less than a small so I bought one.  Now I can't imagine being without any of them.

They can compliment each other.  You can have a couple of eggs lit at the same time with different temps so you can, for example, roast on one and sear on the other.  You can also cook your proteins on one and veggies or dessert on the other.  Some guys cold-smoke cheeses and stuff and you have a fire in one egg with the smoke piped onto another egg where the food is.  You really are limited only by your imagination!
