Recipe for pineapple sauce with crown royal, anyone?
At the Georgia Mountain Eggfest, someone grilled pineapple and used a sauce with cream cheese, honey and crown royal. Those are the ingredients that I remember. Does anyone have that sauce recipe? It was the best that I have ever had but it wasn't turned into Egret for the cookbook.
Thanks!

I posted on FB but haven't heard anything yet. I'm going to send out a blast to all the cooks and see if that'll get somebody off dead center. :(Grillin_G_Ma said:That looks good but I am looking for the one with Crown Royal. It had the best flavor. -

I have over 40 bags from the empty bottles and this is just from a couple of years ago. I use to have more and started bag collecting again. Great stuff. Have you tried the new Maple flavor Crown?Charlie tuna said:I ran a business for 35 years and my men always provided me plenty of Crown Royal for Christmas presents, so i have quite a stash!!

That's what the sauce was made out of, the Maple Crown Royal.

That was me. But, instead of the Georgia Mountain Eggfest, it was the Austin Eggfest. And instead of pineapple, it was shrimp. And it wasn't cream cheese, it was Crema Mexicana. The Crown Royal was really Tequila Reposado. Other than that, you nailed it !! Thanks of remembering it..Grillin_G_Ma said:At the Georgia Mountain Eggfest, someone grilled pineapple and used a sauce with cream cheese, honey and crown royal.
