Dinner prep mostly done; at least the part with blades...

Now comes the chillin part, listening to the Tigers game before egging the grouper and scallops...

The veggies for tonight.. Just some peppers.
And my cocktail and stick. Beautiful day; just a wee bit breezy to say the least.

I'm finding my happy place. Nailed my first brisket, drinking a few beers, and have some live Allman Bros (with mf'n Duane All man) in the patio stereo. Gonna be a great weekend.

Nope... I just coated both them and the grouper with Dizzy Dust Swamp Venom and into the pan

@hapster. I love scallops but never cooked them. Is their any special cleaning instructions I should know? Are do I just season and grill? Thanks for the post always some of my favorites.

I am not aware of any cleaning instructions; never bought any in the shells... these are simply big chunks of sweet deliciousness

I just season and put them in the CI skillet with a little oil or oil and butter.
