I got mine a little bit ago, but made the first batch of pizzas on it Sunday. Unfortunately no pictures, it was all gone too fast!
By far the best we have ever made.
The crust had a great cracker crispy bottom and chewy airy bubbles farther up.
Definitely feels like a game changer after using it.

It was a pretty straightforward newby set up.
Platesetter, legs up, then the grid, and then my baking steel.
Should have raised it up more, but didn't think about it at the time.
Not sure about Ultimate Frisbee though, with how heavy it is Ultimate Decapitation is probably closer.

I just got my notice today so I think he is working his way through the stack of orders. Estimated delivery date is Tuesday.

I just got my notice that it shipped this afternoon, so I wouldn't stress to much yet. I know absolutely nothing about working with steel but I would guess he is finishing them by sizes as opposed to who ordered first.
I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season. -

Today was a good day. Baking steel arrived, got some sweet beers, packer brisket, fresh bacon, and 2 delmonicos. Weeeee!

I emailed Andris yesterday asking him when mine would ship. He told me all Egg orders would be mailed by this (Friday) afternoon. So everyone's should be shipped today.Go Hogs Go

I exchanged emails with Andris yesterday. He mentioned that while his goal was to have them all out on Tuesday, it ended up taking longer than intended. He apologized.At the end of the day these were custom orders, he is extremely excited to be working with us, and is pushing to meet our needs. As Evansegger said, they should all leave today. So excited, and watching my doorstep very closely!

@WokOnMedium, you are correct. Andris has been busting his back side trying to get everything 100% out the door today.
I am sure we will see a flood of pizza, griddle, cooks in the next few weeks.

Got mine today, a mild hunk of steel would not say THE BAKING STEEL stamped on it. haha. Anyway yeah it is currently preheating in the egg. It is gonna cook 6 pizzas in about 40 minutes. HEre goes nothing.
