Did my first cook with the AR. Went with @SmokeyPitt sugestion and went on the naked whiz site. Did a spatchcock chicken nothing on it then underneath it was potatoes with peppers and onion and garlic. It was awesome.

@Charle tuna it was around a 4 and a half lbs.
@shtgunal3 I recommend just getting it. I waited but finally did it and I love it -
I went without one for two years. Big mistake. You don't need one but you will hate yourself for waiting. It truly is a superior product.shtgunal3 said:I want an AR so bad.
It's like Bruce lee doesn't need nunchucks to kick your ass but it sure isn't the same without them.Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here. -
I need a three level cooking surface for my large egg. I presently have the three tiered BGE grid, but i don't like the center post because i want to cook pans of veggies and also have the ability to remove them during the cook???

@Charlie tuna I would look into the AR they have some good stuff that might work for you. Check out the web site at ceramicgrillstore.com

I know I'm beating a dead horse but after you look at all of the amazing things on the ceramicgrillstore.com website actually call them and talk to Tom. He will help you get exactly what will work for the types of cooks you intend to do.

I've been holding off on the AR for some time now but my b day is coming up and I think I'm going to have to put it on the list.I know all the rules, but the rules do not know me.

I've had mine a few months, and it's used for almost every cook. Also, my spide seldom leaves the Egg. I love raised direct, and reverse sear for so many things. In fact, I just ordered the grid extender with sliding grid and an extral oval one today. Multiple ribs, butts, or anything will be so easy now. If you're reading this thread and still flip flopping. JUST BUY IT!!!LBGE (2012), MiniMax (2014), and too many Eggcessories to list. - Sudbury, Ontario

Risking a punch in the face from the boss... I am just about to pull the trigger on both an AR and a Swing Rack.
Thinking my next egg is almost going to have to be a Large so I can share / store accessories
