Not even sure the hot sauce was needed but it definitely gave it even more flavor! It was great just like it was with the jalapeños providing just enough heat!

I'd hit that! Taco pizza was a big thing when I lived in Iowa a few years ago. Had never had it before then, but it was pretty good.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

LOVE taco pizza. I mix a can of refried beans with my salsa/taco sauce as the base, then add more salsa/taco sauce under te cheese. It's our favorite pizza. Better than Casey's makes it!"Take yourself lightly, but what you do seriously." - M. Martin XL BGE - Johnston, IA

Awesome pie- thanks for sharing. I will definitely give this one a try.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Nice. Try topping it with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream after you pull it off the Egg. I'd post a picture but I'm at home with only Kindle and Baylor is playing for NIT Championship right now.

Originated here in the Quad Cities at Happy Joe's. They put out one hell of a pie.
Along with the lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream @Griffin mentioned, Happy Joe's uses Taco Doritos crunched up slightly on top.
Nice job on the taco pizza.

We always crunched up taco flavored Doritos too. Love love love a taco pizza. Jalapenos would make a nice addition.

Love that idea! The cold toppings on the pizza are a nice addition. Mellow Mushroom makes a caesar pie with pesto chicken and they basically dump a caesar salad on it when it is finished. It is excellent. It give the pie a McDLT elementGriffin said:Nice. Try topping it with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream after you pull it off the Egg.
