Wise use of income tax refund.

Well we took some of our income tax check and went and got a half a cow and a whole hog from a semi local slaughter house.  God is good to us !!!

Total cost was just under $1000 once I bought some of there sauces.

We had planned on buying a side of beef and some chickens, a recliner and maybe doing some work in the back yard.

Well, got home from a trip this morning and the fridge had died, lost all the food, it must have went out right when we left, been gone four days, house smelt awful and water had leaked all out in the kitchen while stuff thawed.... so new fridge is on the way tomorrow, that cut a chunk out of the tax return!

We don't get money back :(

Just own a bunch of rental properties and you will get a big one back. That is the route I took and don't suggest it!!!

That's sweet. I've been wanting to buy 1/2 cow.
  • It's always nice to get some of your confiscated money back from the imperial federal guvment. Can't wait to see the outcome

Fortunately for all who give the gub'mint your money for free-you are a bit challenged to do better with it although the market rise has been sweet for a good while.  I pay what I am required and always am happy to pay on April 15th-just try to keep that amount from tripping the under-tax penalty trip-wire.  Off the soap-box!
