WOW... Real nice and even better in the next day or so in sandwiches.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

I clicked on the link to see which meatloaf you did, but it didn't work. I'm guessing it was the "Smoked Meatloaf" rather than the 1770 House Meatloaf. If so, that was the one that the Collucci Brothers made on Throwdown with Bobby Flay (and if memory serves me correctly, they did beat him). Yours lookg great and I'm glad you liked it. Thinking its time for me to do another meatloaf. Been awhile. Thanks for the reminder.

I used foil originally to catch all the drippings so the place setter wouldn't get nasty, now I just put foil on the place setter (if I think about it)

Great cook. I have done two on the LBGE. Wonderful. Tonight, SWMBO, did one in the oven since we are both a little under the weather. Meatloaf with baked potatoes smothered with creamed corn. Gods most perfect meal.

My wife questioned buying the fresh herbs, but combined with Apple wood in the BGE and the 1770 House meatloaf was amazing.

My 1st loaf I made with 1#(and it's not a hashtag) ground chuck and some pork chops( about 2#) I ground up. The market only had frozen so I had to punt. Next time I'll go to the meat market where my Dad worked and get the ground pork and veal mix and some ground chuck as a starter. Then add the balance of ingredients . The pork make it much more moist.
