cracked/chipped base-- can it be fixed? help!

Did a piece break off? Is it big enough to matter? If so, you can probably glue it back on with JB Weld which you can find in most hardware stores. I glued some chunks back onto my small Eggs with this stuff.[p]TNW
The Naked Whiz -
its right where the band "screw" is housed, not a big chip, but how do I get the band secured again, even if I epoxy it back?

Mr. T, if you are referring to the screw that tightens the band, do not be concerned. Just unscrew the nut, reapply the ceramic with JBWeld, and re-tighten the band/nut/screw until it bends again.
