My spring keeps falling out

I've been having a problem with one spring on my XL BGE falling out every time I start to close my lid.
I put it back, and it just falls out again. I have not tried crimping it yet...but that will probably be next.
Have any of you experienced this?

Yes I had the same thing. Turned it around the other way and never happened again.Lynnwood WA
