First Pizzas
Last weekend we decided to try our hand at pizza. We have done many grilled on the weber and even purchased an after market kit for the weber. It was raining all day, so me and the egg were under the 9' market umbrella. Started the hardwood charcoal in a chimney, added it to the egg put the plate setter in place with stone on top. Let the egg warm up for an hour. Pre-baked the crusts @ 550F for 30 seconds per side. Once topped, each pie took about 10 minutes.
Fontina, pinot noir carmalized onions. Proscuitto and mixed green salad added after the baking.
Pepperoni

Meatball (homemade)

:-bd Those are some great looking pies. Like the idea of the first one. Any kind of sauce on it or just the fontina?

Hey Griffin, the crust received a light coating of quick made, garlic oil (garlic micro planed into some olive oil and zapped in the microwave, nothing else sauce wise.
