You did a great job.  Calamari are eggtastic! Like to do them Vietnamese style and steam in a bamboo container on the wok on BGE:

16-20   Whole Squid 3-4 inches long, Cleaned
1 Pkg    Vermicelli Mung Bean Noodles
    1 Can    Waterchestnuts, Diced
6-8 Pieces    Garlic chives, Diced Fine

    1 Lb    Jimmy
    Dean Sausage, Hot

1 Lb    Ground Pork Tenderloin or Pork Butt

      Salt and Pepper to taste

      Thai Hot Sauce, to taste.
    1 Cup    Cornmeal

That is a very unusual and creative cook, double. Looks tasty. Got any more info, like time and temp? What was the rub on top? I'm not sure I've seen calamari here, maybe at Central market, but would be interested in trying it.

Trader Joes sells a selection of South African spices now in the grinder jars I believe it was a flower pepper I used. temp about 400 in a skillet for maybe 10 minutes ( I need to be better about taking notes) I tend to just do things on the fly. I know central market here sells it were are you at Griffin?
