One of the newbies at Salado was asking me about which hot sauce(s) I use. Looking for a list, Wikipedia has decent list. See link above. Which ones do you you like?

Cajun power garlic hot sauce

I've consumed dozens of different hot sauces over the years but still prefer plain ol' Tabasco the most._____________

Man that is some great stuff. I bought a case when I was in New Orleans a few weeks ago. Good on just about anything.
I also like Sriracha. -
Like Botch a very simple person: Crystal.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.
-
Sriracha or Cholula for me.

I use franks. Like crystal also but franks has a little more flavor IMO.

Dichicko's Perri-Perri garlic. I cook with several varieties of their sauces, and even prepare salmon for smoking with it. The extra hot is about as far as I go, except small doses of habenario on cheese and crackers.

I have had a couple of people say the wings I've done, marinated 24 hours in the garlic, are the best they've ever had.

Secret Aardvark Sauce. I'd trade a bottle of your favorite "secret sauce" for a bottle of Aardvark. That offer goes to anyone.*
*Exclusions do apply. Offer not valid for Tapatio, Tobasco, Cholula, Sriracha or any other sauce at TCU's discretion. But try me...this stuff is great.A muslim, a socialist and an illegal immigrant walk into a bar

Tabasco, Cholula, or Texas Pete. One of the three is my go to according to the dish.
-
Franks for flavor and versatility.
If you don't think too good, don't think too much.

Franks. The whole family loves it. Family connection also My Father in Law grew up and went to college in Cincinnati where Franks was started. While in school, he worked at Franks as a taste tester. Said it was one of his favorite jobs ever.Clarendon Hills, IL

El Yucateco Chile Habanero Red. Strong but not blistering heat, good flavor.
Cholula, for something milder.
Usually have some Frank's or Texas Pete's on hand.

doj1975,
Texas Pete's pretty good stuff. Of course the universal hot sauce, good on anything from rice to left overs, is Crystal.

Franks, buy it by the gallon. It's vital to my weight loss program as a sub for catsup and other sugar bearing sauces.

This is why I love a forum with a national presence.I've never heard of Crystal, but i will be looking for it now.Until now for me it's been Texas Pete, Frank's or Hoboken EddieBx - > NJ ->TX!!!All to get cheaper brisket!

Franks is my first choice followed closely by Tabasco and Tabasco Chipotle.XLBGE & LBGENorth Richland Hills, TX

Pretty short list of North American hot sauces. I have over 1,000 bottles in my collection and most are made in North America and the Caribbean. Arizona Gunslinger is my go to. Pyromania and Scorned Woman are good too.

For me, if it's mixed in a recipe, any Louisiana brand will do. Straight up, I prefer Crystal.Dripping Springs, Texas
