Which gas grill to compliment the egg?

I love my Egg. However, the wife doesn't like to mess with it if I'm not around. She wants a gas grill to compliment the egg. Seems reasonable. Ideally, I'd like a gas grill with a huge infra-red burner that can sear steaks from the top...like a Ruth Chris or Morton's grill. I doubt they make anything like that for consumers though. So, anyone have a gas grill recommendation?

I'd buy a small 2 burner infrared. You'll find that the more you use the egg, the less you'll use the gasser.

i wouldnt put one of those infra-red hot dog cookers next to the egg, the egg makes a better steak. i like the buy her a mini idea. if i were to hook up gas next to the egg it would be a 60,000 btu wok burner that i could wok on and use for big boils, you can wok on the egg but its just easier on a big burner and the burner comes in more handy for frying, lobster and steamers, cajun boils etc, kitchen aide makes one that adjusts from 3k to 60k btu's so its even good for light sauces.

Weber Genesis. Best gasser I've ever had. 30 year warranty on the firebox, 10 year on the burners. Customer service is out of this world.

Craigslist is awesome for these.

The best gasser I've used is the Holland. Since the egg came home only the wife uses the Holland.
