Salado TX and Keith's Ace Hardware & 10 Demo Eggs

The date will now be Oct 1st for Salado TX, Keith's Ace Hardware Cooking Fest. ((((This is not the Salado Egghead Fest for March 17th.))))
They will have 10 demo eggs to cook on and we are wanting all the Central Texas Eggers and far away Eggers to be here. This will be fun and please read the note below from Russ about what all is going on.
Each year, Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals designate a child from every state that has been treated at one of their affiliated hospitals. For the entire year they serve as "Champions"; these fifty brave children's hospital patients become the face of Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals and serve throughout the year as ambassadors for the cause. These kids embark on a journey and make several stops including Orlando Florida and Washington D.C. to highlight the vital work of childrens hospitals.
This year Ace Corporate has chosen Keith Ace Hardware in Salado to be the "jumping off point" for the Champion representing Texas. The young mans name is Dustin Strelsky who's story I have included as an attachment. We will have Dustin and his family here at the store on October 1st at 11:00 am. In addition to the Strelsky's we will have representatives from Scott & White, local dignitaries and HOPEFULLY a celebrity or two. Local media from the Waco and Austin markets are slated to be here as well.
We want to make this as big and as special as we can for this family and show what the people of Salado are all about as well. I believe our Salado event can set the bar for all that follow and eclipse all that have preceeded us. I know that Eggheads have HUGE hearts and endless compassion so I thought I would include my Egg bretheren in the event to make it even more special. I apologize for the short notice but this was sprung on me less than 2 weeks ago and I wasn't able to solidify the date until last Friday.
