Pulled Pork Pie

I made a pie with leftover pulled pork. The BGE rules. The pork was 6 days old and the flavor seemed to improve with each passing day. Due to my greed (some would say gluttony) I failed to share my pork; instead, I kept it in a tightly sealed container in the back of the bottom shelf of the fridge, hidden from all. I am guilty of consuming an entire Boston butt and I bare not a shred of guilt. The intrigue of pulled pork on a crappy hamburger bun with 'slaw waned yet the gastronomic satisfaction held true. Anyway, I was compelled to try something new and I love grilling pies so it didn't take long to come to the conclusion of a pulled pork pie. It was even better than you can imagine. I'm sure it's been done but I thought I'd share anyway. A combo of jack and mozzarella cheeses, a thin homemade crust and a touch of pizza sauce, plus the prepared N.C. style pull. I'd share a photo but I can't find a host. Oh well. Next time.
