Anyone have a favorite recipe or method to cook Beer Chicken?

Superuser, I buy 5+ pounders and do 4 at a time on my large. First coat lightly with oil then I use John Henry’s Texas Chicken Tickle on them. Cook them direct on a raised grid at 325 for about 90 minutes. I quit using beer in the cans a long time ago. Just use the cans to hold up the chicken and it is fun to prepare the cans for the egg. That is 4 cold ones before you start cooking so you know it is a good recipe. Always turn out great for me. 160 breast and 180 on legs. This will not crisp up the skin but it will not be rubbery either. Hard to mess up chicken on your egg. Good luck.
