Rotating ribs necessary?

Considering the adjustable rig from ceramic grill store so that I can do six full racks at a time. I've seen where some say it is necessary to rotate the racks during the cook. Also, should I go to the sliding setup? Thoughts on this appreciated. Thanks.

I use the AR & sliding set up and it works very well for multiple racks of ribs or other food. I do not rotate my ribs...however because of hot spots the end ribs usually cook a little faster. I like put a little HDAF over the last rib or two to keep them from burning....

I have the adjustable rig with the sliding system. When I have done 6 racks I did rotate them. It only takes seconds to do with the sliding system. It might not be necessary to do it that way, but I did it because Tom at the Ceramic Grill Store suggests you do.
I highly recommend the adjustable rig with the sliding system. I love it. -
I use the AR w/the sliders and oval stone, love it, did four racks yesterday.
I rotate end for end and up & down. Don't know if it is really necessary but it seems to me it provides a little more even cooking. With this system it is easy peasy, so why not??
I cook meat side up and do not flip at all. -
That is how I rotate them also. It makes sense that it provides a more even cooking environment (I cook meat side up also--until I foil them--I do my ribs Trigg style, so I foil). I also like to spray my ribs with apple juice/apple cider during the cook and it is easier when I rotate them to do this.

Chris, I also spritz w/ straight apple juice, but I do not foil or sauce
