sea bass grilled direct, possible?

Considering I need to make another quick cook tom as leaving for holiday in Mousehole, Cornwall, UK this week. I wanted to buy 3 sea bass, clean, scale, remove gills, then make cuts into flesh. Evoo, salt, old bay rubbed into cut flesh. I would love to try and egg them on the large. I would like crisp skin so will not use foil etc. Standard grill. Is it possible? I know I could do the in many ways on egg, but I want them grilled not half stewed! Thanks. Andy

You sure can Andy! Fish grilled direct is awesome. Just don't over cook... but you want to make sure your not eating raw sushi, if you know what I mean.
Spray or wipe oil on the grid first so the fish skin does not stick. Oiling the fish and then dusting with seasoning is good also. Clarified butter works as well.

Stuff some lemons/herbs inside the cavity.

I've cooked fish on a thinly sliced lemon or two before. Works great for keeping fish from sticking.
