OT - Need help, I may be going crazy...Comp van!?

Ok, my bbq addiction has led me to forming a bbq competition team as some of you may recall me saying before. Because of this I'm thinking of purchasing an old, but hopefully reliable conversion van to pack all of our stuff and to use as a place to get a few hours of sleep. Am I nuts? Any and all thoughts, opinions, suggestions, etc...welcome. Here's one I looked at today, http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/2423004692.html It's really in good shape, a/c blows nice and cold, steering was tight, well taken care of. They're moving in 10 days and need to offload it, they've already dropped it from $3,200 to $2,800...I bet I can get it down further.

Our newly formed team is really doing this for fun and then seeing where it takes us. However, I go to all home Redskins games and this would be a great ride for tailgating too. I've also been looking for an extra vehicle for Home Depot runs, etc...
