    N.E. I haven't used them in an Egg, but I have used them extensively with other grills. They work great for gas grills, quick clean up and easy control of smoke. I've also used them for smoking fish while backpacking, which is excellent!

    My favorite are the Cookinpellets.com 100% hickory. Their Perfect Mix is almost as good, and they are by far the best pellets I've used.
