Half Pound Steak Burgers

This meat is just too good to try and dress up, so this particular recipe allows you to enjoy the quality and tastiness of this rancher’s product. (Available online at www.missourilegacybeef.com)
Ingredients
 4 ½ Lb. Missouri Legacy Beef Organic Steak burgers
 Celery Salt (to taste)
 Garlic Pepper (to taste)
Directions
1. Thaw the steak burgers and season lightly on both sides, return to refrigerator and let set for a minimum of two hours.
2. Fire up the Grill to High Heat on a raised grid.
3. Place burgers on grid and turn ONCE. About 2-3 minutes per side.
4. Remove from heat and allow to rest; serve with your favorite condiments and side dishes.
BACKGROUND ON THIS ORGANIC BEEF
These half pound steak burgers are from real ranch beef and are quite frankly what a hamburger was meant to be; Juicy and full of flavor. Free from Hormones, Antibiotics, Containment Farms and Slaughter Mills. The beef used in these burgers has been produced from cattle that have been bred to produce flavor and tenderness.
This rancher (we use NOTHING but organic beef from his ranch now) uses a high fiber supplement feed in addition to grass, this gives the taste of corn-fed. Their cattle live on pastures and are never confined. They graze on grass and on a high fiber ration that gives them extra protein. Because they are mostly grass fed, the cattle get lots of phytonutrients that you can’t get from corn alone.
This beef tests high in Omega-3 and CLA, and nutrient content. This is better than most organic programs that just feed organic corn with no grass in the diet. Their cattle are never confined and never leave the farm until harvest, so they are kept disease-free and very healthy, the all-natural, old-fashioned way. These cattle never see a slaughter house, the go to local butchers where the beef is always kept separate and not exposed to mass contamination. The beef is processed and quick frozen on location providing you the safest beef possible.

Are you getting paid by "this rancher" to advertize? lol. burgers look good tho, and huge!

Sure looks like it doesn't it. I try to make my posts interesting by adding 'facts or definitions, etc'.
He's a good friend trying to grow his product into something bigger; thus I listed his name and link. I pay full retail for our beef and receive no compensation from him at any time.
However in the interest of full disclosure I do receive (and it is on my blog site as a disclaimer) free product for testing from a few companies from time to time as do many other forum members. When I post recipes using those products you will see the manufactures names used in my descriptions.
It isn't cheap to eat organic, some would argue it's not worth the extra, we choose to spend it there versus other things I guess. For this cook my camera battery died during the process so I DID ask him for permission to use his stock picture for purposes of this recipe post from this afternoons cook.Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241 -
