How are those multi colored twist ties things used that come with the Digi q??

Handy fishing accessories...
I have the Stoker, DigiQ, Maverick ET-7 (yuck), Maverick ET-73, Maverick ET-732 and a couple of other cabled accessories.
I keep one color for all the cables of each device. Makes it easy to grab the cables/power supply for each device. No fooling around trying to figure out what goes with what.
They also work well to keep wires together when using the device(s).
