My go at portobello pizzas

Inspired by holleywood dawg and his post/photos of portobello pizzas, the DW and I thought we would give it a go. Sure glad we did!
Following his lead, some EVOO and garlic, 10 minutes on the small at 375°F, indirect. Then off again to add the rest of the goodies. On again for another 2 minutes or so - don't remember exactly as we were just waiting for the cheese to melt a bit.
The pork sausage - made fresh daily at our favorite grocery store. This is part way through the browning.

The mushrooms - these are a first for me. But now, not the last time! A little EVOO and minced garlic (that's the white stuff here) and they are ready to go for 10 minutes on the grill

Cook these for 10 minutes to get the mushrooms a little more tender. Then add the toppings. This is after the 3 minutes(or so) - the cheese has melted a bit.

These turned out great! Wonderful! Delicious! I guess these are on our "to do again" list!

I've made portobello "hamburgers" many times, but a "pizza" looks fascinating; added to the list!
