Shish Kabob - Dry rub only?

Need some forum help. Going to do chicken and shrimp kabobs tomorrow night. Some of the guests are very averse to any oil, butter, etc...

Does anyone go with just dry rub and no added fat? Planning to rub the chicken with Shaking the tree.

Shrimp will probably be paired with just pineapple and tomato so going with pineapple head.

Also, what temp do you like? raised or normal?

Thanks in advance.

Just rub will work fine. Direct heat will also work. If you have other items you are waiting on, then raise them to cook slower.

If I couldn't use some oil with shrimp, I think I might hit them with a little lime or lemon juice after the flip.

Especially if paired with pineapple (a little sweet/sour).
