Is there a "grandpa grub" type post for woking on the egg? My search function isn't working.

what are your questions? cook just like you would on a stove burner, except you get higher heat.
establish your fire, then cook with the dome open and shut the bottom vent to about 1/2" or so.
Other than that, cook like you normally would except it will go faster. -
What type oil are you using? The vegetable oil I used caught on fire (i think I let it sit to long). next time I'l know close the vent. Thanks for your help.

Use peanut oil. It will take a higher heat and if you are deep frying, after the meal is cooked and the oil is cool, drain thru some muslin and place in a sealed jar for the next venture. It does not hold a flavor.
