Hi All,

Brand new to this forum, although I've been lurking for a bit now B)

I am pretty much set on purchasing a large Egg and I think I can snag one for $640 in the Northern Virginia aera, which seems like a pretty good price. I guess my question is whether or not price is the only thing to go on...seems like the dealer ends up being the go-to person for any warranty needs, eggcessories, etc.

Thoughts? Any recommendations for dealers in the area?

    Welcome to the forum.

At that price, I'm guessing your not buying from a dealer. And if that is the case, your warranty is no good.

Don't let me talk you out of it though, I picked up a large, used 5 times, with nest, side tables and a CI grid. for $750. Haven't needed the warranty yet.:)

I was thinking the same thing, but the vendor is listed on BGE's website. It's not the closest dealer to me by any means, but can't argue with the price.

Welcome to the forum. Is that $640 with or without a nest? If without, you might consider buying a demo from next weeks Waldorf eggfest for $699 and get a nest with it, plus they will have accessories on sale. Where in NOVA? I'm in West Springfield.

    Thanks!

That price is with no nest. I was just looking at the demo packages for that eggfest a second ago, and it's tempting! Only thing is that I'm really leaning towards building a table anyway, so I'm not sure that I want a nest in the long run. Will have to consult the wife...ha.

I'm kind of booked up for that Saturday too, but may try to make a run up early in the morning to mosey around and take a look at accessories.
