How to save a pork butt for 24 hours

I'm new to the Forum, but a long time egger. Plan to cook a pork butt (low & slow) the day before, take it on vacation and serve the first night.
I suspect refrigerating it after cooking, and then reheating it in a microwave before serving will have decent results. Any suggestions from anyone with experience doing something similar would be greatly appreciated.

I actually pull the pork and put it in ziploc freezer bags...Then heating up is really easy. Sometimes I mix some of the butt up with some BBQ sauce in a bowl and heat it in the microwave - is really good still...Almost as good as the first day.

This might sound weird, but it works for me......I steam the butt in a ricer for about 30-40 minutes. I never pull it until we're ready to eat it. I find that it's difficult to tell it's a reheat.
