Hi- I purchased an XL about a year ago and was happy ith my nest until I saw a cypress cart today. it was the YXL4 . The only problem is that they were askin $1200 for it here in North Jersey. I am looking for some advice on what is the best cart to pickup for the XL ? Most of tje advice here on the forums was regarding building plans. i am not skilled enough and would like to purchase one instea. Any advice woulf be greatly appreciated

Truly, find a retired woodworker that will build one for you and incorporate a granite top. If the guts are built with a pressure treated wood and they are face with a good wood for weather elements, you will have probably spent the same money and you will have what you really want. Take a look on the table forum for more ideas. When you go to a granite shop ask for granite that is ordered often than they may have pieces of that will fit the design.

Do a search for Big Green Egg Table Plans or go to the Naked Whiz site. In my opinion the plans for the table are a little low by 3". If you purchase real good no rusting casters (locking wheels) they will be an average of 3". Take the measurements from the plan and build top of table to bottom of leg without wheels 32" then add a 3" wheel you are at 35" which like a kitchen counter top. It is good to work at and on granite it is nice to work on and roll out pizza's. Just make sure the granite is not hot, make sure you are in the shade for the day.
Cheers to many good cooks,

Thanks again Primeggister1! I just got back from the dealer that i originally bought my bge from. The clerk gave me a quote of $599 but said he must first confirm with his boss tomorrow. If that's the case, then I think I'll take it. This is the same cart that I saw for $1250 on Saturday.
