every number you can come up with is divisible by 9. When you study the matrix every time it changes all of the numbers divisible by 9 have the same "gift" and it changes every time to throw you off. It's not magic - it's math, Sorry to deflate your balloon!

Kari, she cannot be wrong mathematically, simple algebra to show why the answer is always a multiple of 9:
* suppose the two digits are x (10's) and y (1's), so your original number is 10x + y
* subtracting each digit from the number yields
10x + y - x - y = 9x
* of course 9x is a multiple of 9 regardless of what you picked
