New way to hot tub himalayan style

Had this cute little piece of cow that had been in the freezer for a few weeks. Took out and was going to cook on himalayan salt block @ 550F for about 3 minutes per side.
But while getting everything ready, I had the dish washer running and thought why not?
Put the still food savered pouch of defrosted meat.
into the top shelf of the dish washer after the wash cycle.
Left for 15 minutes and pulled at 105F rested for 10 minutes and it rose to 110F. Got busy with a movie and letting the small get to temp and the meat was back to 97F. Then 4-5 minutes per side on the salt at 400F.

Pulled @ 125F and served with carmalized onions and shrooms. Have hot tubbed similiar pieces of meat in spa at 102f for 45-60 minutes and they only got to 82-85F before placing on BGE.

Sorry for the long thesis, but as always the BGE did its job.

Great thinking Richard. Sounds like the dish washer works better and faster than the hot tub.
I need to go get a good steak. Cindy will soon have an oral procedure done soon and won't be able to eat for 2 weeks.
I'm in no big hurry but, I found a recipe I want to try. I have everything but, some Himalayan pink salt and some roasted granulated garlic for a steak rub recipe. Have you found these locally? -
Are you going to cook the steak when Cindy is better or can not eat? hehe.
MySpicer has been very good to me over the years and is where I buy most of my non-chile spices. They are also known as Rocky Mountain Spice Co. in Denver.

They have things like powdered worchestershire for my Kona Rub, Hickory Smoke powder for the Holy Smokin' Chipotle.
I always call in my order to make sure I get what I want.
Regarding Himalayan salt. Other than being mined deep in the earth and "polution" free, not sure it is very eggciting. Try in a health store, Redmond Realsalt, all natural sea salt.

I think we will eat a good steak before she endures her 2 weeks with out eating. Then I will have to cook and eat my own steaks for a while.
I don't know if I could go with out eating for two weeks but, it would not hurt me to loose some weight.
Thanks for the links Richard I will look at all those sources to see what I can come up with.
