crispy polenta pie

Ushered in the first 70+ degee day of the season in the hut by calling an all points f-off day, and was able to coax a couple buddies into sharing it with me.

Began with some frostys, made some pies, & ended glued to my seat.

For the cook I tried to purge some ingredients from the kitchen, specifically a block of parmigiano from a Christmas gift basket. Not wanting to sully a good bowl of pasta with it I thought it would go well with a small batch of polenta. In the end it grated into a cup which I added to a cup of polenta, an edible ratio, applied to the pie with random blobs of c-crack – complementing two plum tomato pies.
