Fidel, Faith posted today Buffalo Chicken Dip. I looked it up and found your post.
Question: I am not a blue cheese fan, do you have any other ideas w/o the blue cheese dressing?
Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

  • Mickey,

I posted this in the baseball thread. No blue cheese in this dip. Also, I used celery to dip in it, and that was good too.

    Chopped egged chicken
    8 oz. cream cheese
1 pkg. Hidden Valley ranch mix
    1/2 cup Frank's hot sauce
cheese of your choice on top - I used mozzarella

Mix together and top with cheese and heat on egg.
Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Here is a wing sauce I recently created and it is very good IMHO.

Sauce, BBQ, Holy Smokin' Chipotle, Southwestern, Richard Fl.

These portions will make about 2 1/2 plastic ketchup size squeeze bottles. Keeps well in frig.

    INGREDIENTS:
    24 Ozs Dukes Mayonnaise
7 Ozs Chipotle in Adobo Sauce
    7 Ozs Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Whole Hatch Green Chiles, Roasted
    4 Ozs Favorite BBQ Sauce
2 Tsps Holy Smokin' Chipotle Seasoning, or any chili seasoning.

    PROCEDURE:
1 Place in a bowl and puree with a stick blender. Place in a -plastic squeeze bottle to use. Refrigerate any leftovers.

    Recipe Type
    BBQ Sauce/Sauce

Faith, I just made this, but I cheated and used the stovetop. I had a couple of egged leg quarters left from last night that I shredded and put in. This is a FANTASTIC dip! To quote Gomer Pyle,"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" :)
