Well, I recently purchased a 2nd egg and it needed a place to call home besides the nest...I based my table off of the ones found on the Naked Whiz site..modified it just a bit....
Here are some pics..pardon the messy garage..
Top and legs...
Bottom shelf:
Almost Completed:
Completed with rotating and locking casters:
The Large Egg at home:
You will see I got some landscaping 1x1 stones to act as feet..I did not see the sense in purchasing the feet when these were .38 cents each..I just need to stain this summer, add hooks and ofcourse a bottle opener..

"IF" I were gonna go back to a table, that is the design I would prefer.NO HOLE,OPEN FRONT. Nice work.
-
Thanks! I could not imagine lowering the egg into a hole and removing it!
-
It tis a CHORE!
-
Very nice!Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories.
-
I like it! I have my small in a nest and think I would be happier if it were in a table similar to yours. I'll have to sweet-talk my husband into building it, or I could go and buy the materials and pretend I'm going to do it (ha ha)....that would end any discussion for sure - :woohoo:
-
nothing against your table, but how about a better picture of that shiney Vett being babied on the rubber mats!
-
You did a great job. It looks very heavy and stable.
-
This one? (vette engine, tranny, beefed up suspension and brakes)
This one?
Or this one?
-
Thanks BigJohn! It is very heavy and level...(odd for me!)
-
Maybe it's just be the angle of the dangle, but that Vette with your new table TOO DAMN CLOSE IMHO without protection appears to be brighter like from a newer paint job.
-
Gotta love the V. I almost got an STS V, but got the N* instead. If I had the V, I would be dead. The N* has got enough to get you in trouble as well, but it aint like the V. That V is what 560 hp?
-
Same paint job on that car..it needs a new paint job bad! It was close, but not enough to scare me..
-
My V is an older one with 405hp...still
A sick car!! I love the LS engines!!
What is a N? -
N*= 32V Northstar
Nice work with the table, a little too close to that Vette though
Love the VBrandonQuad Cities

love the build. And this is just my two cents...I built my table with a open end and my egg fell out of it while I was installing it...I added a removable gate when the new one [egg] arrived.. Maybe consider a chain or something, things happen. I learned the hard way. Sweeeet!!!
-
Haha, even from a girl's perspective I thought the same thing !! That table is way too close to that fancy bumper of a car that appears to be parked on carpet! Cars and table all very nice!
-
Lol! It was a good inch from it...I pretty picky when it comes to that car...thanks!!
-
Very nice table! I like the open front, shows off the egg which is a beautiful thing in its self.
Have fun cookin! :cheer: -
I have an XL and built a table for it. Its fully enclosed but its not as hard to get the egg in as youde think. Instead of "lowering the egg in" i simply just made the top easily removeable, i put the egg on the bottom shelf, then simply put the top of the table on and just anchored it with a screw at each post.

Looking good!
