Smoking with the Mini

Has anyone used the Mini to smoke a small brisket or pork butt.
If so please advise on how. Thanks EggDude :huh:

    I don't own a mini, but I'd imagine all you need is something for indirect cooking.

    Yup - done a small butt twice. Set up indirect using a couple of unglazed tiles to deflect the heat.

    Ya need an indirect setup then you can slow smoke. I made mine. I cut down a pizza stone for the worlds first mini plate setter.

    It works great. Smokes just like my large but on a mini scale. :P Here is a mini pork butt, smoking to BBQ Heaven. :woohoo:

  • All those are great ideas,thanks for the pics that really helped alot being a first time Egger.
    Also how long did it take to smoke being that this is a Mini and not much room for alot of coal?
