Stoker Question
Stony
Posts: 21
Ok, maybe i'm too eager and read through the manual too quick, but i did not see anywhere how too set the daisy on top of the egg. How much should it be open to run the stoker on an overnight cook?
Thanks
Stony

I don't have a stoker but, I have a CyberQ II. I crack the daisy wheel on my large open till you can drop a tooth pick in. Works great.

Assuming you are going for 250 (or a similar low temp), just open it a little.

About an 1/8". The fan will take care of the rest.

What he said.
Even at that, you're really limiting the amount of draft during those times the fan isn't running. I say this because when I have mine open any wider, I get temperatures well in excess of my target.
When the fan is running, the smoke/exhaust/etc comes out of every crick, crack, and cranny in the set up - mostly out from under the daisy wheel. -
Thanks Guys! That's the info i needed. Have a great weekend!
