baby back ribs from Sam\'s Club
RRP

I swear I've never seen this discussed here - always see Costco mentioned but never Sam's. We don't have a Costco but today for the first time I bought a cyrovac pack of 3 racks at Sam's. Just $3.27 a pound which compares to $3.99 at Kroger. OTOH for years I have stocked up at $2.99 or $3.49 when Kroger has a sale and I buy a dozen racks. I've repackaged these bought today in Food Saver sleeves so I could freeze 2 racks separately and am egging the 3rd on Sunday. All 3 racks looked very nice and the thing I like was there was no "15% injected solution" like Kroger ribs! Any others have comments or experience with Sam's ribs?

I've bought them and liked them. I shop at Kroger often, but I don't buy their ribs for the same reason you gave. Why pay for water?

Sorry you do not have a Costco nearby. Not only does Costco not have an injection in them but many times they have the membrane already removed.

I think RD is under 2.00 a pound along with my other meat connection. You should do a mail order with my guy. He has everything!

I buy most of my spares and baby backs there and never had a bad one

I have gotten all my baby backs at Sam's so far, they are by Smithfield and I like them. They are meaty and have a nice amount of fat for flavor. I have recently joined BJ's cause they carry Pearl Hit Dogs down here but have not tried their ribs yet. I know the butchered meats are much better looking at Sam's. The ribs look very similar but not Smithfield.

We really enjoy Sam's Club ribs at my house.

Sam's ribs are ALL I buy unless I have a local butcher order some special.I NEVER buy Kroger pork because it is all solution added. The other option around here for UNenhansed pork is Schnucks.I have very good luck with all of Sam's pork cuts.

For us Sam's is closer than Costco, so we buy ribs from Sam's. Never had any to complain about, they seem to be consistent in quality and taste.

Been buying baby backs from SAMs for years. I had one pack that was bad. I simply returned them for a trade. No issues at all with the return. They were really rank. I opened them and my family ran for the hills.

I've never had issues with Sam's club ribs. Restaurant Depot has great quality too.

We buy baby backs and pork tenderloin often from Sam's...actually, the only pork we buy these days is either from Sam's or The Fresh Market. I avoid injected pork and chicken at all costs (and sometimes the cost is much greater that I would like). The injected solutions are not healthy! My husband has a sodium restricted diet and though I can control what I put in as I'm cooking, I have to really watch anything prepared, injected, etc. I find the Sam's product to be of great quality, hope you do as well....

Have been buying Sam's Babybacks for ever. Good product at a good price!!

I buy most of my ribs from Sams. We do have a Costco, but I've never been impressed with them. I like the Sams ribs the best out of all my other options (publix, kroger, wal-mart).

The ones from my local Costco have the membrane already removed.

I do love Sam's pork and beef (choice). Fresh, thick cut and never a problem. Watch out for the poultry, much of it is full of preservatives and salt water. Unlike Walmart whose beef and pork are also adulterized. I never buy any fresh meat at Wallys. Ever. I am not a "natural" or "organic" devotee, but I don't want my meat measured in half lifes.

I only cook baby backs and they always come from Sam's club.

I get all of my ribs - spares and BB's - from Sam's and have generally had good luck with them. They used to package spares in both cryovac and standard tray-n-wrap, but have lately moved to just cryovac, and I can't say I've seen much change other than the cryo-packed ribs don't include the severed tips.

I have used both Sam's and Costco ribs and both are excellent IMO
