back a couple weeks ago I had posted how close Sticky Pig was to Blue's Hog sauce IMO and how much I really liked Sticky Pig's Jalapeno sauce. That same night someone asked where to buy it and I discovered the site was gone! For days now I've checked and followed up and just now see it is alive and kicking again. http://www.stickypigbbq.com/

  • Teresa sent me a free bottle, so I could read the ingredients on the label for myself. I inquired about the ingredients because my girlfriend is on a very restrictive diet.

I haven't tried the Jalepeno, but their regular sauce is great.

The regular is sweet and VERY close to Blues regular if not the same! I heard the two guys had perfected the sauce recipe together while they were good buds on the competitive BBQ circuit. Then they had a major falling out and each took off on their own. I believe Blues added their Tennessee Red as another sauce and Sticky Pig added their jalapeno as their other one. You can't go wrong with either brand, but the one thing that gives Sticky Pig the edge in my book is the use of the plastic bottle instead of the Mason jar that Blues still uses! Trust me - a dropped SP jar will bounce, but a Mason jar doesn't!

Their site is still down for me. Looks like a name server issue. Hope all is okay with them.

They were great when I emailed them about whether their sauces were gluten free or not. They assured me that they were and I've not had any problems with any of them.

hmmm, that's funny - I have no trouble pulling it up. I got an email from Teresa from SP this morning and apparently she wasn't aware the problem existed until someone from New York called her.
