The other day I posted this picture of our Amaryllis and the thread drew some appreciative remarks.

Since then there are now 3 blooms and a 4th is on the way.

Wow, is it from a bulb that will come back next year or just a one-time bloom?

if you plant it and care for it over the summer, you can force more blooms the next year. most folks toss them in the trash after the christmas season. we used to, but i gave last year's a try and it has produced a side bulb, and both it and the original are growing again (repotted it from the garden in the fall and let it go dormant)
i'm no gardener, just wanted to see if it would do it.
