My butt just fell down!

UPDATE:
I decided to proceed and I sure am glad I did. Took the butt off last night about 7:30pm for a total of a 20 hour smoke. I still had some trouble stabilizing the temp and finally went about 325F for the last couple of hours to get the meat to 200F.
All-in-all, it was delicious and I'm not dead nor feeling bad. Only me and the wife at the meat as we had to feed the kids dinner earlier.
I think I learned a lot on this first attempt and hopefully I'll be better next go around.
