Like most of us who are on here daily, my egg is a HUGE part of life. Well here in W. Central Florida we don't get snow. I'm a weather nut and have family in Hiram, GA. So on Thursday I decide I was going to take my kids to play! Father in law has an egg he got by accident and never uses! Well......I killed 2 birds with one stone. I can die today and be happy.

Woww that looks cold but nice, great you could use the egg, now we are getting some of your cold weather....still 32*F but no snow
-
I'll hang in there, lol. There's more good times to be had!!
-
It wasn't as cold as it looks really. Had to make a fire inside the egg before I could open the lid.
We're back home in Florida now and it's 49 degrees here. There is snow in 49 of the 50 states right now! Wow. -
pretty cool.

What was on the egg?

Those were ABT's w/Pineapple Head and THICK Wright Brand maple bacon. Always hear the commercials for that at home and never can find it? I also did a roast while I was there. Good times!

For me maybe!
We may move if the wifey can land a job in Nuc. Med. around there. -
Where are you in W. Central FL??
We are in Homosassa, Citrus County -

Gotcha, thanks

BillHill,
Those ABT'S look great. I noticed they are not stuck with toothpicks. How do you get the bacon to stay in place? :ermm:Beautiful and lovely Villa Rica, Georgia -
lol, I only used toothpicks the first time I made them cause that's what I saw on here. Don't need them! They magically stay together.? Try it
-
very cool family memory they will have forever and that is priceless

We ALL had a great time. It was a little hairy trying to leave before the mush on the road froze again!

In the weather circles, the interesting story yesterday was that 49 of the 50 states were reporting some amount of snow... Florida was the one that did not have any. (Hawaii's snow was atop a volcano).
Meanwhile, here in the high lonesome... I have 4 or 5 inches and it's not melting anytime soon as last night it was -15°F.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery -
I saw that on the weather channel this morning.Imagine, Florida being the ODDBALL! :P

Bloomingdale West? My wife was living in Bloomingdale East when we were in high school. Small world
-
I timed it right. Every winter I say we're gonna do a snow road trip . This time I MEANT IT!!! lol.
